This book is priceless. Freddy Silva has done a magnificent job of pulling together a huge collection of facts and ‘coincidences’ into an amazing commentary on the quest of the Templars and their relationship to Portugal, essentially their own nation. I couldn’t put this book down. I’ve read many on this subject and none have been so well-written, touched on so many unexplored avenues of thought and reason, or been so satisfying. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the Knights Templar or the possible machinations of other brotherhoods.
The well researched way history is presented is refreshing. Learning the reasons why and the path knowlege has taken makes it come alive. I can see myself rereading this a million times. So much to digest. I love when the passion to learn more gets lit. Im on fire
This is one of the best books I have ever read. Read it not once, but twice. It pulled so many of my lifetimes together. I was in Scotland last summer and my photos of the grave covers at the Kilmartin Church have the same symbology as is talked about in this book. Just excellent. Beautifully written!
"First Templar Nation" was a gift to my husband, who read it several times already. The book is rich in research and resource materials. The author cites all of the historical dates, names, and locations of the events surrounding the Templar subject. My husband found the book very interesting, reading and rereading it. The book is heavy on documentation, but a must read for anyone with an interest in the Knights Templar.

I was amazed throughout reading this book about the Templars. I spent the last six years researching the Templars in Portugal for my weBook CrossingTheOceanSea.com and only found a tiny fraction of the information I finally learned from Freddy Silva. The story of how Portugal was formed is so colorful, and so rich, yet few people know it.
This is a great book that explores a different view and history that we may be accustomed to.
